With more than 30 years of experience working as a coach and mentor to executives, physician leaders, academicians, and professionals in a range of occupations, Jodi has a demonstrated history of improving performance, accountability, and achievement—providing personalized coaching and consulting to assist leaders, both formally and informally, in achieving their goals. Beyond coaching and consulting, Jodi has facilitated organizational development and change management for high-level initiatives and can serve as a planning and implementation partner.
A Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching, Jodi most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer and vice president for Human Resources at the University of Florida—one of the top public universities in the nation. There, she was responsible for all of the university’s human resources activities that served more than 30,000 faculty and staff.
Jodi holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication with a specialization in public relations from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in English from Berea College in Kentucky. She also is a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She founded the University of Florida’s Advanced Leadership for Academics and Professionals program for established leaders as well as the UF Academy for emerging leaders and co-developed a leadership competency model as a framework for understanding and developing leadership skills.
